About

After nearly 60 years on this planet, Laura N. Sweet has one enduring marriage, three children, two grandchildren, gray hair, poor vision, one bad knee – and nearly 40 years of studying, teaching and writing about the Bible! Laura’s career path has gone in two directions: with a B.A. degree from Central Michigan University, she taught teenagers for 16 years at a Christian school where she resides in Midland, MI. In 2017, she left her teaching position to pursue more writing opportunities.

Laura has written more than 100 magazine articles for local and national publications.

These publications include Words of Hope, Unlocked, SEEK, Encounter, Capper’s Farmer, Christian Home and School and Birds and Blooms, as well as three Sunday school manuals. Today, using her skills as an educator and her gifts as a writer, Laura loves to communicate God’s truth to others.

Her first book, God Sent A Baby, released in December 2021.
